Some small jobs that you think you are capable of fixing can quickly turn into a plumbing nightmare!

1/3 people have admitted they would fit a gas appliance themselves to save money. This is a massive risk and Gas Safe recommends you never take it.
The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 explains that any gas work such as installations, servicing, maintaining/ repairs must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
If you decided to undertake any gas work yourself you are putting your self in danger of carbon monoxide poisoning, gas leaks, explosions, and fires. Therefore, it is recommended you never undertake any work that involves a gas appliance.
Please remember to always hire a gas safe registered engineer to carry out any work to protect you from any unsafe gas work.
